25 Years of Biotikon – The World of Analytics, Part 5

Biotikon’s 25th anniversary is a deeply meaningful experience for me, because every week, with each new chapter that I have the privilege of sharing with you, I look back and recognize the tremendous value that we at Biotikon have been able to build over a quarter of a century with your support.

What began as an idea 40 years ago has grown into a company encompassing many important areas of knowledge. You have already become familiar with some of them, such as the knowledge of ancient cultures and our passion for modern natural medicine, but also modern science and our understanding of the many biological metabolic pathways in the human body, which ultimately are also part of our natural existence as human beings.

Knowledge about the use of plant compounds is very important, but for high-quality food supplements, understanding their composition and the molecular structure of the individual substances is equally essential. This brings us to the major field of complex plant analysis. My friend and long-time companion Dr. rer. nat. Klaus Denzel has been with us for many years. His expertise and experience as the head of major laboratories have enabled Biotikon to set exceptional new standards in the analysis of food supplements.

Biotikon was one of the first companies in the German-speaking region to analyze all Curcuma products using the special C14 method – and we continue to do so to this day. This method ensures that the Curcumin is 100% natural.

We have also been offering OPC products for 25 years. There is considerable uncertainty in the market about what exactly is meant by OPC and how it can be measured. Biotikon has conducted research in this field. This exciting project also received research funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.

For me, analytics has also become a fascinating field, because here, just as in natural medicine and modern science, an entirely unique world can be explored and experienced.
