Astragaloside IV with Piperine

Astragaloside IV is an important ingredient of Astragalus membranaceus. Astragaloside IV by Dr. Michalzik differs significantly from normal Astragalus root powder. Astragaloside IV by Dr. med. Michalzik is concentrated 50-fold and thus reaches high values of Astragaloside IV. Extracts with a ratio of 4 : 1 correspond to a normal drying and are not comparable.

We do not add magnesium stearate! On the market, currently 1 mg of pure Astragalosid IV costs approx. 140 Euros. A daily dosage (1 capsule) Astragaloside made by Biotikon^® already contains 50 mg, this would correspond to a value of 7,000 Euro per capsule. Make sure to ask how much Astragaloside IV is contained.

At present we sell this product with 5 mg of Piper nigrum extract (95 % piperine) per capsule.

In China, Astragalus membranaceus is also called Huang Qi; in German, the plant is referred to as tragacanth or milkvetch.

Astragaloside IV by Dr. Michalzik is subject to strict examinations of German supervisory authorities. It is manufactured by use of gentle production technologies without heat or additives in the capsule filling and without the use of processing agents which are not required to be mentioned on the packaging.

No industrially produced silicic acid (silicon dioxide) flow aid.
Biotikon does not use silicon dioxide or silicic acid (SiO₂, known as E551) as a flow aid. The foundation for product testing "Stiftung Warentest" states that those may contain nanoparticles. Silicic acid or silicon dioxide in dietary supplements has been discouraged. Bio Suisse has terminated approval of silica or silicon dioxide. Silica from horsetail is not to be confused with this industrially produced silica.

No Aluminum Contained
A large number of nutritional supplement providers use aluminum as a sealant for cans. During the sealing process an aluminum foil is strongly heated by a high frequency electromagnetic field. We deliberately do not use this method!

Without talcum!
The release agent and lubricant talcum which is used for manufacturing of tablets or capsules can contain asbestos fibers. Biotikon completely dispenses with the use of release agents and lubricants in their capsule production.

Additional Information:
Conventional astragalus preparations standardize their product referring to the astragalus polysaccharides. This amounts to a different quality which often is less concentrated. Astragaloside IV is an outstanding extract.
