Vegan Safe Omega-3
contains ultrapure vegetable microalgae oil from Schizochytrium sp. which is particularly rich in DHA and EPA. Many plant-based omega-3 products usually only contain DHA. Omega-3 forte vegan by Dr. Alexander Michalzik M.D. contains 390 mg DHA and 150 mg EPA per capsule in the optimal ratio of DHA to EPA 3 : 1.
In addition to DHA and EPA, algae oil contains other omega-3 fatty acids. This results in a total of 570 mg of omega-3 fatty acids per capsule from a purely plant-based source.
